You know, Jesus had a pretty big \u201cto do\u201d list to accomplish in his 33 years of life:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Grow up (and never do anything wrong).<\/li>\n
  2. Take 12 random guys (some of whom can\u2019t read or write), and, in 3 years, shape them into world leaders.<\/li>\n
  3. Be tortured and killed, in spite of what you want to do, and defeat the greatest enemy the world has ever known.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Yeah, Jesus had a lot on his plate. But think about it.\u00a0 Can you imagine Jesus rushing around – interrupting folks and cutting people off in traffic so he could get His \u201cimportant stuff\u201d done?\u00a0 Of course not.<\/p>\n

    Jesus was never in a hurry.<\/p>\n

    He said, \u00a0\u201cCome to me, all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.\u201d<\/p>\n

    When we come to Him, in the middle of our busyness, he gives us rest.\u00a0 We find \u201crest for our souls.\u201d\u00a0 And we can go about our day, packed as it may be, settled and at peace in that \u201czone of rest,\u201d knowing He is with us and within us, guiding and leading us to do what is most important.<\/p>\n

    There is plenty of time to do each day what God would have us do without rushing.<\/i><\/p>\n
