\u201cWhenever I have seen God\u2019s wondrous work, \u2026the thing that has always impressed me the most was the absolute quietness in which it was done.\u201d \u00a0 -A.B. Simpson<\/p>\n

When God drew His first breath as a human being, it wasn\u2019t to great fanfare or a noisy celebration. His entrance into this world was a relatively quiet affair. \u00a0It was eventful, yes, in the \u201cOh my gracious the baby is coming\u201d sort of way. \u00a0Painful. \u00a0Messy. \u00a0Joyful. \u00a0It was an ordinary – albeit always extraordinary – birth.<\/p>\n

And yet it was also miraculous. \u00a0Jesus\u2019 \u00a0birth marked the first time that God lived within a person. \u00a0As a Person.<\/p>\n

Thirty-three or so years later, this extraordinary God-man named Jesus was murdered.<\/p>\n

Jesus died, but He was not defeated. \u00a0 Jesus overcame the grave, and the power of evil in this world, and returned home. \u00a0And then He sent back a gift to every person willing to accept it: \u00a0the gift of Himself.<\/p>\n

And so the miracle continues. \u00a0Immanuel. \u00a0God with us. \u00a0God living within us, transforming our ordinary lives with His extraordinary presence.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t miss a moment of it, obsessing about something you think you want, and then trying to figure out how to get it.<\/p>\n

The truth is, all you or I ever truly want or need is right here with us, within us.
\nLoving us.
\nHealing us.
\nGuiding us.
\nGiving us the deep soul-satisfying life that can only come from Him.<\/p>\n
