One of the greatest things God has given me is the gift of His company.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, don\u2019t get me wrong. When I say \u201ccompany\u201d, I don\u2019t mean God\u2019s business, World Incorporated, LLC<\/strong>. \u00a0OK, yes, I might –might<\/em>– have some control issues, but even I am not foolish enough to think that God would put me in charge of His whole international operation.<\/p>\n

When I say \u201cthe gift of God\u2019s company\u201d, I\u2019m talking about His presence<\/strong>. \u00a0God, because of Christ\u2019s sacrifice, gives everyone personal access<\/strong> to Him: \u00a0the privilege of spending time in His company. \u00a0And, His spirit actually lives within every person that chooses to become His child.<\/p>\n

God\u2019s spirit is actually with me<\/strong>, but also within me<\/strong>. \u00a0Amazing.<\/p>\n

God loves each of us without any conditions at all. \u00a0Nothing will ever change that reality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I spend time with God, I feel like I am in the presence of a dear friend, or a loving parent. \u00a0<\/strong>He knows my good parts and my ugly ones, and loves me right where I am. \u00a0I don\u2019t have to prove anything to Him, or to anyone. \u00a0I am 100% safe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

When I am around someone who\u00a0loves me and enjoys my company, I relax. \u00a0I don\u2019t feel the need to prove myself, or to protect myself from their judgment. \u00a0I can be silly. \u00a0Creative. \u00a0Quiet. \u00a0Contemplative. \u00a0I tend to laugh more. \u00a0And to worry less. \u00a0It lifts my spirits, and it encourages me.<\/p>\n

In God\u2019s company, I can be utterly and completely myself<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
