He doesn\u2019t love me more when I follow Him, or love me less when I don\u2019t. \u00a0He doesn\u2019t love me more when I try to be perfect, or less when I realize that I can\u2019t. \u00a0God has hopes for me, not expectations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>God is invested;\u00a0He is \u201call-in\u201d with me. He came to get me. \u00a0He died for me. \u00a0He overrode death for me. \u00a0Hard to get more invested in loving me than that.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>God is trustworthy. \u00a0He will do what He says. \u00a0I can count on Him\n<ul>\n<li>to be with me<\/li>\n<li>to take care of me<\/li>\n<li>to work in the world. God is active in this world, and when bad things happen to me, He will turn them into something good.. \u00a0Even when I don\u2019t understand what is going on, I can be sure that I am in good hands, and He will use the circumstances to create the best outcome.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>God is my Father. He has adopted me as His child. I belong to Him, and to His family. \u00a0This isn\u2019t hyperbole. \u00a0I am his daughter. \u00a0His very own.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>God is <strong>good company<\/strong>. Wise. Interested. Peaceful. Considerate. I can be content with Him.<br \/>\nGod\u2019s most dominant characteristic is His love.
